Scar Tissue Treatment in Middleburg Heights Ohio

Old scar tissue doesn't resolve on its own. Lets resolve it together.

Introduction

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization uses a specialized stainless steel tool to address soft tissue that's stopped functioning the way it should — whether that's fascial restriction limiting your range of motion, or adhesion formed from a prior injury that never fully remodeled.

For injuries that have not fully resolved, evaluation can identify remaining areas of restriction.

What It Actually Does

The instrument allows precise, directed pressure along a muscle or fascial plane — breaking down adhesion and restriction with a degree of specificity manual technique alone can't replicate.

How This Differs From Cup Scraping

Cup scraping relies on suction combined with movement. IASTM applies a rigid instrument with direct, concentrated pressure. Both mobilize soft tissue, but IASTM accesses denser, more entrenched restriction that suction-based technique isn't suited to resolve.
